About Eduard

Eduard Gurevich is a Canadian landscape artist whose work reflects a lifetime of artistic exploration and cultural experiences. Born in Donetsk, Ukraine in 1969, Eduard immigrated to Canada in 1992, settling in Toronto before relocating to Wasaga Beach, Ontario with his family.

His artistic journey began with a Degree of Arts from the University of Lvov in Ukraine, followed by an Illustrator Diploma from Sheridan College in Canada. This diverse educational background influences his unique style, blending European techniques with Canadian landscapes.

Since 1993, Eduard has run a home-based art studio, where he not only creates his own thought-provoking art but also teaches aspiring artists of all ages. His work reflects his life experiences, philosophy, and the world around him, offering viewers a deep emotional connection.

Eduard’s paintings capture the majesty of Canadian landscapes, drawing inspiration from the rugged coastlines, serene forests, and dynamic seasons of his adopted homeland. His vivid use of color and intricate details invite viewers to experience the beauty of Canada through his eyes.
